Gingerbread, the charity for single parents, provides expert advice and practical support for single parents, and campaigns to make sure their voices are heard and taken seriously in the workplace, media and government.

We offer information and advice on:

• Bereavement
• Child maintenance
• Work
• Education
• Welfare benefits and tax credits
• Housing
• Managing finances and debt
• Single dads

We run training programmes to help single parents gain the skills, work experience, and the confidence to get back into work.

Our local friendship groups and forums make sure no single parent has to feel like they’re raising a family alone.
