Developmental Co-Ordination Disorder Service
The Developmental Co-Ordination Disorder Service supports children aged 5-13 with Developmental Coordination Disorder (Dyspraxia).
Symptoms of this condition include:
- Developmental delays such as difficulty with dressing, writing and balancing
- Displaying weak muscle control
- Delay at reaching milestones such as sitting, walking and speaking
Our occupational therapists, working alongside doctors, psychologists, physiotherapists and speech therapist, support children using purposeful play and self-care activities.
We deliver services to individuals and groups, in schools and at the home.
